Terms and Conditions for Gas and Plumbing Services

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of gas and plumbing services provided by Gas Plumbing Kent, owned by Mr C F Martin, a Gas Safe registered engineer (Registration No. 945579) to the client.

2. Services

We offer installation, maintenance, and repair services for gas and plumbing systems as described in our official service list. Services not listed may be available and can be discussed upon request.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Services must be booked in advance. Emergency services may be available with an expedited response depending on availability.

4. Fees and Payment

Our standard fees are £75.00 per hour during normal business hours (08:00 AM to 06:00 PM) and £100.00 per hour for services provided after hours (06:00 PM to 10:00 PM).

Invoices will be issued upon completion of the service and are due within 5 days of receipt. Late payments may incur additional charges.

5. Cancellations

Clients may cancel scheduled services without penalty up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made later than this period may incur a fee.

6. Client Obligations

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the engineer has access to all necessary areas for conducting the service. Clients must also ensure that the environment is safe for the work to be carried out.

7. Guarantees and Warranties

All services will be performed to a high standard. Any parts supplied will be covered by a manufacturer's warranty, and workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months following completion.

8. Liability

Gas Plumbing Kent holds public liability insurance. Our liability for any direct damages arising from our services is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Privacy Policy

We respect client privacy and commit to protecting personal data in accordance with GDPR. Client information will only be used to facilitate service provision.

10. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time, with changes becoming effective immediately upon posting to our official website or notification to the client.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
